Huggies is a brand that continues to impress me, through their clever use of advertising and also the amount of resources they offer to new mothers via their website. But the thing that is really notable about this brand for me, is their continual ability to engage people emotionally. Even their new range of nappies with a denim design to support jeans for genes day, brought a smile to my face. I don’t usually profile large commercial brands, but I think Huggies are doing things really cleverly at the moment, and there are plenty of lessons to be learnt from their marketing.

Save Your Logo provides an opportunity to invest in the conservation of the species of animals used in companies logos.
Will companies leveraging off the concepts associated with these animals to sell their goods, be responsible enough to recognize the link and support the animals? Im not totally convinced, but it would be great to see it take off! Time will tell.

To be totally honest, I’ve got no idea where this comes from and who created it. It was tucked away in my ‘great brand case studies’ directory, and I didn’t record its origin. I just think its a beautifully executed brand personality. It plays with the earthy colours and textures associated with olives, but maintains a really vibrant persona through the typography. A perfect mix for mine, really like it.

Yet another quality demonstration of the clever thinking going on at Uniqlo. A great screensaver, great soundtrack and incredibly effective piece of marketing.
