Avoiding the pricks
This is just a very simple t-shirt design I came across. I just like the way it tells a story with so much simplicity. For those simple folk (like me) that don’t get it straight away – the balloon keeps on falling for real pricks!

Checkmate!

The billboard on the left is for Audi, the billboard on the right for BMW was strategically erected at a later stage to challenge the Audi ad. Billboard rage, Love it!Sometimes it pays to know where your competitors are advertising.

The character within
In one sense its about taste, in another stereotypes, in another fashion, in another style and lifestyle… and you could go on. It just says so much! I guess it comes down to how you read it as an individual. Considering sex sells, will the coffee flavour find a new male demographic it didn’t previously have? Will they sell less honeycomb because its seen as a little nerdy, conservative and unfashionable. Or will they all simply turn people off eating ice-cream altogether? Whether it’s successful or not on the shelf is of little relevance here, as a piece of clever communication is shines for mine. I applaude reach design who had the balls and creativity to put this on the table.

A rare sighting

A stunning example of creating unique and compelling brands through story telling. These great wine labels depict the many intricate contraptions that individuals conceived in order to create hoaxes of Loch-Ness Monster sightings in Lake Okanagan, in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia.
Designed by Laurie Millotte, the in-house designer at Brandever, and beautifully illustrated by Belle Melchior.
